MILFORD GRAHAM "MILT" On Sunday, October 13, 2019, Milford (Milt) Graham of Crescent Township passed away peacefully with his loving family at the age of 79. He was the dear son of the late Russell and Lydia Graham; loving and devoted father of Robert (Kelly) Graham and Sharon (Stuart) Solsky; cherished grandfather of Alex, Taylor, Jamie, Riley, Julia, Connor and Victoria; beloved brother to the late Russell Graham, the late James Graham, John Graham and Bob Graham. Milford is also survived by many dear friends. Milt worked for The Port Authority of Allegheny County for over 27 years as a bus driver. After his retirement, he enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, his weekly Steeler games and a beer with his son, Bob and attending any and all activities involving his grandchildren. He will be forever remembered with love and fondness to all those whose lives he touched. Family and friends will be received on Friday, 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. at R.D. Culver and Margaret (Terry) Culver in Glen Cove, NY, Frank led a prolific career designing light rail systems across the world. He served his community as an Assistant Chief with the Elrama Volunteer Fire Company and as a Scout Leader. CAROL I. (HELLER) TRAPPEN Carol I. (Heller) Trappen, 79, of Elizabeth Township, died October 15, 2019. She was born December 25, 1939 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Harry E. and Irene C. (Marsula) Heller and was also preceded in death by her husband Gilbert C. “Gil” Trappen and a brother Harry E. “Butch” Heller. She was a retired nurse receiving an associate degree in nursing from McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of the board of directors of the McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, McKeesport. She is survived by her children Dr. Sandra Lee Trappen, Gary A. Trappen, and Pamela Rene Trappen Adams; her grandchildren Zachary and Joshua Adams and Tyler and Nicole Trappen; and a brother Edward Heller. CLARA MARIE (WULFKAMP) VIOLI "CLAIRE" Age 85, beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on October 13, 2019, after a brief illness. Clara Marie was born on October 29, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara (Collet) and Charles Wulfkamp; step-father, Norbert (Bud) Wuenstel; and her husband, the love of her life, Alfred (Al) Domenic Violi. She is survived by her three daughters, Dr. Elisa Claire (Dr. Kevin) Taffe, Jennifer Marie (Mike Zotter) Violi of Portland, OR, and Teresa Anne (Mark) Trombetta. Claire was lovingly known to her four grandchildren as Young Grandma (Alex and Michael Taffe) and Mimi V (Giuliana and Matteo Trombetta). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Claire was first and foremost an exceptional daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. Before marrying Al, she worked for twenty years at the Deckman Company as office manager, a job she fully enjoyed. Above all else, Claire valued family and friends, demonstrated by her extensive genealogy research, countless mailed greeting cards and frequent lunch dates. She played a mean Scrabble game, baked a perfect pie, and lovingly attended to every detail of every holiday. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Janzef and his daughter, Betty Hyland; and a sister, Connie Pampus. Beloved mother of Arthur (Cindy) Youngstead, of Shadyside, Kurt (Cyndi) Youngstead, of North Huntingdon, Sherry Kimmell, of Harrison City and Holly (Terry) Roels, of Clemens, NC; sister of Victor (Linda) Daniels, of Irwin, Kay Brady, of FL and Wava (Dick) Zorker, of CA; grandmother of Garrett and Mitchell Kimmell and Daniel, Luke, Lindsay and Jake Youngstead; and 14 great-grandchildren. RICHARD J. DAY Age 89, passed away October 15, 2019 in Wadsworth, Ohio with his daughter by his side after a decade long and hard fight with Alzheimer's disease. Richard was born August 8, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA where he spent most of his life working hard and caring for his family. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Richard loved God, he loved his country and he loved his family. Richard will be fondly remembered for his kind and gentle soul, devotion to family, great cooking and wonderfully witty sense of humor. Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife, Charlotte, and son, Richard Alan Day. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Day and many relatives and friends. On behalf of Richard, his daughter would like to express her sincere gratitude to the staff of Altercare Wadsworth and Absolute Hospice for the excellent care that they provided to Richard in his final stage of life. Barbara was retired from Western Penitentiary in the Accounts Payable Department and was a school bus driver and bus monitor. She also volunteered for the Peace Corps and spent two years in Samoa. She also enjoyed shopping and going to dinner. Jim was born on September 17, 1940 in Pittsburgh the son of the late James A. and Dorothy (Shaver) McCabe. Jim was a former funeral director affiliated with the former McCabe Funeral Home in Point Breeze and then Penn Hills. Jim also was retired as a Paralegal with the PA Department of Transportation. Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen (Kane) McCabe; his son, James A. McCabe, III (Charlotte) and his daughter, Mary Jo Korinek; his three grandchildren, Declan McCabe, Rebecca and Emily Korinek; his sister, Carol Rush (John) and several nieces and nephews.
